We adore FRANCE 24 for putting news back into the news.

Thirty-Fourth Street

We're going to do something a little different, here. Do you remember the movie, Miracle on 34th Street, and the Santa Claus who told patrons where to go to find what they were looking for, even if it wasn't at Macy's, who employed him? We want to be like that Santa Claus. We're launching a new section, Thirty-Fourth Street, to do just that. We'll tell you what we love at the other magazines and multi-media sites, and hope that you respect and appreciate us for pointing you towards stuff that others did way better than we have.

We've also got something else in-mind - undermining the paparazzi and the trash-talking tabloids. How? Well, if your name is Tyra Banks or Jennifer Love Hewitt, send us the photos you WANT people to see, and we'll publish them before some hack hiding in a trash can snaps your photo and makes a buck on making you look bad. Seacrest, got a date? If you tell us first .. it's not someone else's commission check, anymore. If you want to publish a first photo of your kids, or you really like how you look in a two-piece - tell us, and send the tabloids back to reporting on stupid things, like cats from outer space. So, if your initials are MARCI KLEIN, or your last name starts with KATZENBERG, or you play third base for the New York Mets, Mister Wright, chime in.

It is your life - let us hear about it in YOUR words.

INTERNATIONAL NEWS WITHOUT ALL THAT CRAP.
Are you sick of "Breaking News" footage of the whereabouts of Anna Nicole Smith's baby and Britney's spiral on what is supposed to be world news? So are we. We've turned to France 24 (in English, too!), where world news is still WORLD NEWS.
